Dia de Los Muertos Spooky Cocktail

πŸ’€πŸ’ DΓa de los Muertos CazuelaπŸ’πŸ’€

How is the Day of the Dead compared to Halloween? While both holidays may be considered β€œspooky,” Halloween revolves around darkness, death, ghosts, witches, candy, and costumes. On the other hand, Day of the Dead is explicitly about the afterlife and remembrance.

I recently (4 months ago) have wonΒ #LunazulCantaritoΒ challenge and have won a trip to Mexico. I’m finally headed there soon.
Did you know Mexico’s national drink (cocktail) isn’t Margarita? It’s actually Paloma. Cantarito is basically a Paloma served in a traditional Mexican clay pot. Cazuela Voladora is also kind of like a Paloma or Cantarito but it is usually made in a large shallow clay bowl, and meant to be shared among friends.
Who are you sharing your Cazuela Voladora with?

(Serves 2)
4 ozΒ Lunazul Tequila Blanco
1 Β½ ozΒ Mongibello Blood Orange Juice
2 oz Fresh grapefruit juice
1 oz Fresh lime juice
6 oz Blood orange soda
Pinch of salt
Garnish with slices of citrus fruits and edible flowers
